The Oboxx Team was on the move and celebrating with business partners at Tango Bistro located just off the train tracks beside the Bryn Mawr station.
Using our winnings from the BirthdayPak contest, we treated our team to lunch at this upscale restaurant that offers contemporary American cuisine. Michael J. Marchesani, CEO of BirthdayPak presented us with our gift card and then joined us at the table.
Our party ordered the Quiche of the Day, Tuna Niçoise a Burger and a Grilled Chicken Burrito. The portions were generous, the presentation was appetizing, and the food was delicious. Eddie, our server, was awesome.
Once an old baggage depot, the restaurant building has been beautifully refurbished with exposed stone walls and sophisticated furnishings. Joe Baldino, Tango owner, designed his Train Car Room to resemble an authentic railroad dining car. With the Amtrak and SEPTA trains whizzing by the window every few minutes, it felt quite real. Tango Bistro is the place to see and be seen on the lower Main Line.
Being entrepreneurs ourselves, we were pleased to have time to hear the story of how Michael established a niche business in life event marketing. We discussed the topics of how much is too much and how often is too often when it comes to social media communications.
What are customers looking for in a business? What are their needs? How can entrepreneurs like ourselves structure a business so that it adds value to the lives of our clients? We kicked these issues around to uncover some answers.
We also had time over lunch to brainstorm new ideas for both the BirthdayPak and oBOXx businesses. Once we understood Michael’s philosophy and business model, it was delightful to discover our synergy. We’re planning to help each other. Look for our article about Michael on the oBOXx website.
We left Tango Bistro with a satisfied feeling in our hearts – and in our stomachs.
